MF & DAZN: X Series 22 preview
The main event will be Till vs. Luke Rockhold for bridgerweight gold.
Till (18-5-1 MMA) was supposed to fight Tommy Fury, but the half-brother of Tyson Fury backed out after Till teased performing “MMA tactics” during their fight. The former UFC welterweight title contender ended his UFC run on a three-fight losing streak.
In boxing, Till has beaten Anthony Taylor and Darren Stewart.
A former UFC middleweight champion, Rockhold (16-6 MMA) last competed in the cage in 2022. He lost against Mike Perry in a bare-knuckle fight in 2023 and competed in a Karate Combat event in 2024.
In a clash of styles, Tony Ferguson faces Salt Papi. Winner of The Ultimate Fighter in 2011, Ferguson (25-11) went from interim champion to having an eight-fight losing streak. The 41-year-old faces influencer Salt Papi (6-2), who has taken boxing seriously.
Meanwhile, Danis (2-0 MMA, 0-1 boxing) competes in his first MMA fight since 2019. The controversial figure last competed in a ring in 2023, losing via DQ in a boxing fight against Logan Paul. He faces Warren Spencer, a former mechanic who has competed at several influencer boxing events.
