High school boys soccer began its Illinois High School Association matches on Monday.
Now, for the first time, the Journal Star is asking readers to make a fan’s choice for high school boys soccer of the year. Cast your vote at pjstar.com. The poll runs through noon Friday, Aug. 29.
Nominees were pulled from the list of boys soccer players to watch in 2025, published in mid-August and available at pjstar.com.
This vote has no bearing on who will be selected the Journal Star Player of the Year or will make the annual all-area team, which are scheduled to be announced after the season.
