Iran’s Military Central Command issued a stern warning to US President Donald Trump on Monday, stating that the American strikes on Iranian territory have widened the battlefield and that powerful retaliatory actions are imminent. Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Military Headquarters, warned that the United States will face “heavy consequences” for its actions. Referring to President Trump as “the gambler,” he pledged that Iran would retaliate.
“Trump, the gambler, you may start this war, but we will be the ones to end it,” Zolfaqari said in English.

Iran’s military has declared that it will retaliate against the US strikes on its nuclear facilities, calling it a legitimate act of self-defence.

In an earlier statement, Iran’s ambassador to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani, said the Iranian military would determine the “time, nature, and scale” of its response to the US strikes on Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan.

The US “decided to destroy diplomacy” with its strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, and the Iranian military will decide the “timing, nature and scale of Iran’s proportionate response”, Iravani said in the UN Security Council emergency meeting.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump claimed that the US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities have caused “monumental damage.” Taking to Truth social, the US president stated that they struck “bullseye” with the precision targets on all three nuclear websites.
