Hill’s ex wife Keeta Vaccaro claimed there were eight instances in which she was allegedly abused by Hill during their 17-month marriage, per documents obtained by TMZ. Hill was accused of shoving Vaccaro, throwing her and ripping out her hair, among other things, in the alleged attacks.
The first alleged incident reportedly occurred in January of 2024, two months after the couple got married. Vaccaro claimed Hill grew angry while discussing a postnuptial agreement. Vaccaro said Hill shoved her to the floor, stood over her and ripped her necklace. The alleged incident caused a cut and bruising.
Two weeks later, Hill was again accused of attacking Vaccaro during an argument. Vaccaro said Hill reacted by, “violently attacked her, throwing her to the floor, twisting her intimate body parts, ripping her hair out and grabbing anything on her person he could get a hold of,” per the court document.
Other instances in the document include allegations that Hill spit on Vaccaro, threw her out of their house and locked the door and was physical with Vaccaro while she was pregnant.

Hill’s attorneys responded to TMZ’s report, denying all allegations by Vaccaro. Hill’s legal team accused Vaccaro of a “shakedown” and “smear campaign” against Hill. While Hill’s legal team did not go into detail regarding Vaccaro’s specific allegations, it denied all claims that Hill was physically violent toward Vaccaro.
Vaccaro and Hill dated for several years before getting married in 2023. The couple’s marriage lasted just 17 months, as Vaccaro filed for divorce in April after an alleged domestic dispute. Police were called to Hill’s home in April amid reports of an “assault in progress.” Police spoke to Hill and Vaccaro following the alleged incident and closed the case. Police added they were in communication with both Hill and the NFL following the incident.
Hill has been accused of both domestic abuse and battery during his NFL journey. When Hill was in college, he was arrested after being accused of hitting his pregnant girlfriend in the face and stomach and choking her. Hill was dismissed from Oklahoma State following his arrest. Hill pleaded guilty to charges related to that arrest and was given three years of probation.
In 2016, Hill was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the fifth round of the NFL Draft. After a modest rookie season, Hill developed into one of the best receivers in the NFL.

Three years later, Hill was investigated after being accused of battery to a juvenile. Hill was not charged with a crime, though the Chiefs opted to suspend him from team activities during the investigation. A month later, the District Attorney’s office declined to pursue a charge against Hill due to lack of evidence. At the time, the district attorney who made the ruling said they believed “that a crime occurred,” but could not establish who was at fault. Hill did not face punishment from the NFL after the incident.
Following the 2021 NFL season, the Chiefs traded Hill to the Dolphins, where he promptly signed a four-year, $120 million extension.
Hill has faced other legal issues since joining Miami. In 2023, he was accused of assaulting a man at a South Florida marina. The following year, Hill was sued by a model who claimed the receiver broke the woman’s leg during blocking drills.
Prior to the start of the 2024 regular season, Hill was detained by police on his way to the Dolphins’ Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hill was handcuffed by police but eventually was let go and allowed to play in the contest, where he gained 130 yards and scored a touchdown.
Hill played in the team’s season opener Sunday, hauling in four passes for 40 yards. Neither the NFL nor the Dolphins have issued comment following TMZ’s report on Hill.
