Travis Kelce couldn’t help but laugh when his brother, Jason Kelce, was introduced during the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe.
Travis, 35, and Jason, 37, kicked off the first day of competition in the annual golf tournament, presented by American Century Investments, on Friday, July 11.
When Jason was introduced as a “zero-star walk-on running back,” PEOPLE caught a video of Travis cracking up. After the former Philadelphia Eagles player saw his brother’s reaction, Travis gave him a coy shrug.
Jason’s introduction at the tournament also described him as “one of the best centers” in the NFL of all time after poking fun at his career beginnings.

The Kelce brothers — and their dad, Ed! — arrived at the Edgewood Resort on Friday for their 9:50 a.m. tee-off time. Jason was sporting a straw hat with a black polo, while Travis wore a green patterned polo and a white baseball cap.
Jason and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end are scheduled to play the course together, along with former NFL star Andrew Whitworth. However, neither Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce, nor Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, were spotted on the course on Friday.
When PEOPLE caught up with Ed at a hole, he happily took photos with fans and said he “really needs to get Donna out to this one year.”

Travis and Jason arrived at the course one day earlier than they were scheduled to play for some practice shots on Thursday. The brothers were spotted on the driving range around 4 p..m. while the other celebrity contestants ran the course.
Other participants in the American Century Championship include actor Rob Mac, Bills quarterback Josh Allen and WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert.
Ahead of the first day of the competition, Travis and Jason showed off their karaoke skills at a private party. The duo rocked out to Bob Seger’s classic 1978 hit “Old Time Rock & Roll.” In 2024, Travis took home an award for his karaoke skills at the same event.
