Yusuf Buhari breaks down during vote of thanks

President Bola Tinubu has approved the renaming of the University of Maiduguri to Muhammadu Buhari University, honouring the late former President Muhammadu Buhari.
The announcement was made during a special Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Tinubu, dedicated to paying tribute to Buhari’s legacy.
“The University of Maiduguri will henceforth be known as Muhammadu Buhari University,” President Tinubu declared.
The son of the late president, Yusuf Buhari, broke down briefly while giving the vote of thanks, moved by the heartfelt tributes and the significant honour bestowed on his father.
