The 2025 astrology has been a doozy. Thus far, the year has welcomed major cosmic shifts the likes of which haven’t happened in more than a century, in some instances. Neptune and Saturn both began their journeys into Aries, offering previews of changes to come; Jupiter moved into Cancer, expanding opportunities for nurturing and emotional healing; and Uranus entered Gemini for the first time in 76 years, signaling a time of new information and enhanced curiosity.
And the year’s not over yet!
Fortunately, yoga is a complementary practice to all celestial weather—and discovering the perfect pose for your sun sign can offer a physical and wholly aligned place for you to land. Ashley White, aka The Yoga Astrologer, uses each sign’s associated body focus, along with the current and upcoming transits, to determine the best yoga pose to support you through the remainder of the year.
Think of your pose as your personal still point—a place to return to over and over again when things get real. From inversions to opportunities to open a chakra or two, these are the yoga poses each Sun sign needs for the rest of the year.
The One Yoga Pose Your Zodiac Sign Needs for 2025
These thoughtfully paired poses honor where you are as you keep an eye on what’s ahead.
Leo: Wheel Pose
Body focus: heart, spine, upper back
“Leo will dedicate the rest of 2025 to expanding their knowledge through education and travel, which will align with their long-term dreams and aspirations, particularly in the realm of their public persona,” says White. She recommends relying on Wheel Pose, its arching spine and upward-facing heart evoking the sunrise. “[The pose] symbolizes Leo’s ability to utilize their learnings to radiating positivity and joy to others.”
Pro tip: don’t forget to warm up with less-intense backbends first!
Virgo: Half Lord of the Fishes
Body focus: gut, nervous system
According to White, the remaining months of the 2025 will find Virgo exploring their life’s purpose—which may be undergoing some transformative changes. “Half Lord of the Fishes, a grounding pose, is ideal for earth sign Virgo,” says White. “It soothes the gut and nervous system, serving as a powerful tool for maintaining inner peace amidst significant transformations.”
Libra: Dancer Pose
Body focus: kidneys, low back, glutes
Libra’s innate charm will serve them well for the rest of the year. White shares that they can expect to rely on said skill to connect with others and expand their horizons. Dancer Pose, with its gently extended hand, is an embodiment of this. “This pose is a symbol of Libra’s ability to create a sense of peace and balance that attracts people and opportunities alike,” she says.

Scorpio: Eagle Pose
Body focus: hips, reproductive system
“Scorpio’s focus for 2025 is on transforming their habits, routines, and overall well-being,” says White, who recommends that the water sign find focus and control through Eagle Pose. “This same energy will be instrumental as Scorpio navigates the changes in their daily rituals.”
Sagittarius: Compass Pose
Body focus: thighs, liver
Of course wanderlusty Sagittarius would require a compass. “2025 reconnects Sagittarius with their inner fire, potentially igniting a new flame in the form of a love interest or business partnership,” says White. She notes that Compass Pose‘s upward-extended foot can be likened to an arrow pointing Sagittarius (the archetypal archer) toward their destiny, drawing them in them in the direction of their dreams.

Capricorn: Squat
Body focus: knees, bones
A desire for (and understanding of) emotional security will propel Capricorn through the second half of 2025, providing a new sort of challenge for the ambitious sign. “Whether through changing health habits or rewriting their daily routines, Capricorn will benefit from the balance and stillness of Malasana, which opens the hips and creates a sense of inner peace,” says White.
Aquarius: Standing Figure Four
Body focus: ankles, calves, circulatory system
Aquarius is always all about the people, and the next few months will be no exception. “Aquarius will prioritize strengthening their interpersonal connections, which could potentially lead to a renewed sense of joy and creativity,” says White. To support this era, White suggests Standing Figure Four Pose, which combines strength and balance with the innovative spirit that Aquarius brings to all interactions.
Pisces: Diver’s Pose (or Drinking Bird Pose)
Body focus: feet
Pisces 2025 journey is a self-facing one. “Pisces’ focus for 2025 will be on personal values, including financial security as well as self-esteem,” says White. “Diver’s Pose [or Drinking Bird Pose] encourages this water sign to take a deep inner look at what it means to create inner peace.”
Aries: Headstand
For Aries, the next few months will be about challenging their physical body and speaking their mind—and doing both on, and with, purpose. “Aries is always up for a challenge,” says White. “The sign will benefit from Headstand, which can help shift their perspective and welcome new ideas and possibilities.”
Taurus: Shoulderstand
Taurus will spend the remaining months of the year turning their attention inward. “This will be in the realm of spiritual and personal development, perhaps channeling their creativity along the way,” says White. “Through this deep inner work, Taurus will benefit from the balance and inversive nature of Shoulderstand, bringing a renewed sense of clarity and perspective.”

Gemini: Dolphin Pose
Calling all Geminis! It’s time to speak up. White notes that the rest of 2025 asks you to use your voice to connect with and inspire others, all while renewing your own sense of purpose. Dolphin Pose can help with that. “Dolphin opens the shoulders and activates the throat chakra, encouraging this air sign to speak their truth,” says White.
Cancer: Mermaid Pose
Body focus: chest, breasts, womb
The tail end of 2025 will see Cancer focusing on mental health and career, and in so doing, finding a mastery of work/life balance. Mermaid Pose may be a challenging one, but finding ease here can help you find a similar peace during tough times.
“Mermaid activates the hips and opens the chest and shoulders,” says White. “The shape highlights the crab’s natural ability to maintain strength during challenging times while also shining a gentle softness from within.”
