Morocco defeated Ghana on penalties in the semi-finals of the current Women’s Africa Cup of Nations on Tuesday night.
The game concluded 1-1 after 120 minutes in Rabat.
Stella Nyamekye gave the Black Queens the lead in the 26th minute of the game.
However, 10 minutes after the interval, Sakina Ouzraoui equalised for the hosts.
Morocco converted the first four penalties in the shootout. Although Ghana scored their first two, Evelyn Badu and Comfort Yeboah both missed their kicks.
The Atlas Lionesses will now face Nigeria’s Super Falcons, who are attempting to win their record-extending 10th title.
The game will be played on Saturday.
