The Pittsburgh Steelers looked strong in their preseason victory over the Carolina Panthers — but one play stood out for all the wrong reasons: a massive hit delivered to RB Kaleb Johnson on special teams.
Following Carolina putting the first points of the game on the board with a 43-yard field goal, Johnson received the kickoff for the Steelers — but was obliterated by a huge hit from Panthers LB Jacoby Windmon, leading to a celebration from his teammates.
Johnson, however, is built out of Steel and walked off the hit — coming back in for a few drives throughout the contest.
Pittsburgh would ultimately get the last laugh despite the bone-jarring hit, defeating the Panthers 19-10 with a second-half shutout — thanks in large part to these six standout Steelers in the preseason finale.
