After enjoying a day off on Saturday, the New York Giants returned to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center on Sunday to wrap up their first week of training camp.
With rain and thunderstorms engulfing the Northeast, practice was in danger of being moved inside to the fieldhouse, but held off long enough for an outdoor session.
Beforehand, head coach Brian Daboll met with reporters, as he does each day, and provided the positive news that linebacker Brian Burns and wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson did not suffer concussions following their scary Friday collision.
Daboll also revealed that wide receiver Jalin Hyatt would return on a limited basis after suffering tightness and cramps earlier in the week.
The Giants will be back on Monday morning for their first padded practice of the summer, and with the heat index expected to be 100-plus degrees, it’s likely tempers will flare.
Here’s a look at some of the sights and sounds from Sunday’s training camp practice.
