The Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) redesigned website will go live today, Monday, September 1. The upgraded platform, according to the Commission, is aimed at improving accessibility, transparency, and efficiency in stakeholder engagement.
The Commission said the website now features a modern design, enhanced functionality, and a streamlined user experience, making it easier for investors, market participants, and the general public to access regulatory information and updates. Key upgrades include improved navigation, consolidated resources, and a responsive design optimised for both desktop and mobile devices.
In a statement, the Director General of the SEC, Emomotimi Agama, said, “This website redesign reflects our dedication to continuous improvement in service delivery and communication. This digital advancement is a significant step in building a more transparent and accessible Commission, enhancing our engagement with the capital market and the investing public.”
Also speaking, the Executive Commissioner, Corporate Services, Samiya Hassan Usman, noted that the upgrade focused on both functionality and user experience. “Our focus extended beyond aesthetics to core functionality and user experience. By simplifying access and logically organising content, we have created a powerful platform that supports our mission to develop and regulate a fair, efficient, and transparent capital market.”
The Commission encouraged stakeholders to explore the new website and take advantage of its features for seamless access to regulatory updates, news, and services.
