    From Okey Sampson, Umuahia

The National Coordinator of South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA), Belusochukwu Enwere, has declared that his group will mobilise to ensure that President Bola Tinubu wins a second term in office in 2027.

Enwere stated this while inaugurating SERHA’s Abia State chapter in Umuahia.

He emphasised the goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda, which include bridging economic gaps, strengthening local enterprise, and galvanising support ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

“We are not just inaugurating a state chapter today. We are also empowering our people with tools and resources to uplift their lives. This is about real impact.

“President Tinubu has proven his commitment to national progress through economic reforms, infrastructure development, and investments in education and healthcare.

“This agenda is a continuation of that vision, and we in the South East are fully onboard.”

He further cited achievements of the Tinubu administration, such as the Nigeria Education Loan Fund (NELFund), improved ease of doing business, and an inclusive governance model that aims to give every region a voice.

Abia State SERHA Coordinator, Uche Hillary-Adibe, had earlier said the group apart from supporting Tinubu, also believed in empowering women and youths.

He promised to engage some other stakeholders to sustain the Renewed Hope movement and ensure people’s participation in democratic processes.

As part of the inauguration, more than 1,000 beneficiaries across Abia State received business tools and financial grants.

Items distributed included sewing machines, hairdressing dryers, grinding machines, and motorcycles. Financial support ranging from ₦20,000 to ₦200,000 was allocated to hundreds of small business owners and indigent families.

Some of the recipients commended SERHA for the support given to them and for organising the event.
