- As army commence recruits training in Osogbo

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede, has charged officers and instructors of Depot, Nigerian Army, Osogbo, Osun State on effective training and professionalism in producing top-notch soldiers that Nigerians can be proud of.
Gen. Oluyede, who gave the charge during his operational visit to the Depot, in Osun state, urged the officers and instructors to train the recruits with passion, focusing on capacity development to producing high quality personnel.
The COAS, who reiterated the commitment of the Nigerian army to continue to protect the territorial integrity of the nation, charged the officers to align with his vision of enhancing the Nigerian Army’s capabilities in discharging its constitutional responsibilities.
Gen. Oluyede, who used the opportunity of his visit to inspect the training facilities and infrastructure within the Depot, and assessed the current state of readiness, identified areas for improvement with the aim of boosting the Army’s operational readiness and performance.
The establishment of Depot Nigerian Army Osogbo, brings to two the number of recruitment training center with the Depot Nigerian Army, in Zaria, Kaduna state.
