Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba has expressed his happiness for Marcus Rashford as he departs Manchester United for Barcelona.
Manchester United and Barcelona have already completed all the paperwork for Rashford’s loan agreement, and the player has arrived in Spain to undergo his Blaugrana medical.
Rashford took a 15% wage cut from Barcelona, with the Spanish La Liga winners due to pay him €14 million gross (€7 million net).
His contract with the Catalan club also includes a €30 million buy option for June 2026.
Speaking on the development, Pogba insisted that Manchester United is losing a great player in Rashford.
“That’s crazy. I’m happy for him,” Pogba told American YouTuber and online streamer, IShowSpeed, as quoted by The Touchline.
“Manchester United is losing a great player! That’s great for Barcelona.”
Pogba and Rashford were former teammates at Manchester United.
