One of Penn State men’s basketball’s nonconference opponents has seemingly been revealed.
According to report by Rocco Miller, the Nittany Lions will host Campbell as part of their nonconference slate in the 2025-26 season. The two squads have met just one before, an 86-75 Penn State win in 2017, a game that was also played in the Bryce-Jordan Center.
Last season, the Camels finished just 15-17 including a first-round exit in their conference tournament. The postseason Basketball Power Index ranked them No. 217 nationally while Penn State finished at No. 58.
So far, only one game is officially listed on Penn State’s website, a matchup against Providence in the Hall of Fame Showcase in Uncansville, Connecticut. However, New Haven officially announced it will host the Nittany Lions on Nov. 8.
Additionally, previous reports have stated the Nittany Lions will face Fairfield, La Salle, Boston and Harvard as part of their nonconference slate, but those matchups haven’t been confirmed.
