    Oshoala set to join Al-Hilal from Bay FC

    Asisat Oshoala, a Super Falcons forward, is expected to join Saudi Arabia’s Professional Women’s Football League team, Al-Hilal.

    Oshoala will leave her current National Women Soccer League (NWSL) club, Bay FC.

    According to The Athletic, the 30-year-old arrived in Riyadh on Monday and passed medical tests.

    The striker joined Bay FC from Barcelona Ladies in February 2024.

    Oshoala played her final game for Bay FC on Saturday, losing 3-2 at home to the Washington Spirit.

    She joins a strong presence of Nigerian players in the Saudi League, which includes Ashleigh Plumptre, Francisca Ordega, Rita Chikwelu, and Chinonyerem Macleans.
