    From Idu Jude

The interim Chairman of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Labour Party, Senator Nenadi Usman, has described the former Governor, Peter Obi, as a dependable leader and the future hope of millions of Nigerians.

Senator Usman, in her felicitation message over the weekend to mark Obi’s 64th birthday, said millions of Nigerians await a leader who will transform the nation’s economy.

She further said, “With profound joy and heartfelt delight, I extend my warmest felicitations to my brother, friend, and leader, Peter Obi, on the occasion of his 64th birthday anniversary. As I join millions of Nigerians—both at home and across the diaspora—to celebrate you on this special day, I wish to particularly commend your extraordinary courage, humility, resilience, and unwavering belief in a new Nigeria that works for all.

“Even in the face of recent political developments that have taken an alarming and unprecedented turn for the worse, I continue to urge you not to relent in your noble quest for justice, equity, and good governance.

“Millions of Nigerians have come to see in you a flicker of hope in a nation that appears adrift, plagued by the incompetence of those entrusted with its leadership. I enjoin you to remain that beacon of hope to the despondent and long-suffering critical mass of our people.

“I am confident that with steadfastness and focus, this hope will, in no distant time, be fully realised.

“As I offer prayers for many more healthy and fulfilling years ahead, kindly accept once again my warmest congratulations,” her statement reads.
