Nick Saban’s wife, Terry Saban, addressed speculation Saturday about her husband possibly taking the vacant head coaching job at Penn State.
During a segment on ESPN College GameDay, host Pat McAfee brought up the conjecture, which prompted Nick to shake his head. McAfee then directed the conversation toward Terry to get her thoughts:
“I have no doubt if Nick wanted to go back to coaching, he could win his eighth national championship,” Terry said. “But we’re having too much fun and we wouldn’t want to take the opportunity away from all of our baby coaches.”
Terry ended by joking that she hasn’t “heard a number yet” regarding a monetary offer from Penn State, and Nick followed up saying, “Mrs. Always Right has spoken.”
