Celtic have “some more” players to recruit, says manager Brendan Rodgers as the new season nears.
New striker Shin Yamada was introduced to the support before the Scottish champions beat Newcastle United 4-0 in Saturday’s friendly.
The Japan international, 25, is one of three attacking players signed by Rodgers so far this summer, with winger Benjamin Nygren and striker Callum Osmand also coming in while Hayato Inamura and Kieran Tierney have bolstered the defence.
“We’ve got a lot more to come, we’ve got some more to bring in also,” Rodgers told club media.
“We need to and we want to get some more from the squad, some more players to come in and support the guys that are already here.”
