Long-serving Gloucestershire batter Miles Hammond has signed a new three-year contract with the county.
The left-hander, who made his debut in 2013, has gone on to score almost 8,000 runs across all formats of the game.
The 29-year-old was a key member of Gloucestershire’s T20 Blast-winning side last season, hitting an unbeaten 58 from 41 balls to seal their victory over Somerset in the final at Edgbaston.
Also an accomplished fielder, Hammond holds a club record for most catches in T20 cricket, having taken 71 to date.
“Miles has been a mainstay across all formats for us, challenging and occupying key positions,” said Gloucestershire head coach Mark Alleyne, external.
“Gaining a further commitment from him to continue as a Gloucestershire player is brilliant news. I know his influence will continue to grow with this group.”
