Malvika Raaj, known for playing the young version of Kareena Kapoor’s iconic character Poo in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, has shared the name of her newborn daughter. Malvika and her husband, entrepreneur Pranav Bagga, welcomed their first child on August 23, and now, 40 days later, they’ve officially named her Mahara.

The couple took to Instagram on Friday to introduce their daughter to the world and announce her name. Sharing heartwarming pictures from the Dussehra naming ceremony, they wrote, “40 Days of MAHARA. On the auspicious day of Dussehra, we officially named our Baby Girl! #namingceremony #Mahara #Maharani #babygirl #ourangel #ourqueen #mydoll”

In the pictures, Malvika and Pranav are seen twinning in elegant ivory floral outfits. Pranav cradles baby Mahara, while Malvika gazes at them lovingly. Though the baby’s face remains hidden, she’s seen in a floral headband, snugly swaddled. A second picture captures Malvika holding her daughter and smiling down at her.

Adding a special touch, Malvika wore a necklace with her daughter’s name, and even her dupatta featured the name “Mahara” delicately embroidered.
