Jets Offense Predicted To Be ‘Pretty Dangerous’ By Analyst originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

You will be hard-pressed to find many people bullish on the New York Jets offense with Justin Fields leading Tanner Engstrand’s unit.

With so much turnover, a new scheme, and the fact that Fields has struggled in his four years to show he can be a consistent NFL quarterback, some are skeptical that this will happen under Aaron Glenn.

But NFL analyst and former Pittsburgh Steeler Ryan Clark thinks the Jets’ offense might be sneaky good in 2025.

Speaking on the Mina Kimes Show, Clark, in his rankings, has the Jets at No. 27, and after praising the defense, his attention turned to Fields and the offense.

“Garrett [Wilson] and Justin [Fields], that feels good to me,” Clark said. “If I’m the Jets, I probably dangle a little Breece Hall as trade bait, I don’t know, but if he’s there and what Justin Fields adds to the running and the way that you can utilize Breece in the pass game as well, I think that this offense could be pretty good, pretty dangerous.”

Breece Hall looms as a key piece here.

Entering the final year of his rookie contract, and with his ability as both a runner and receiver well-documented, if things start poorly, maybe the Jets look to get some value in return.

But if Hall plays up to the standard we know he can, he will give Fields a security blanket as a runner and receiver. Yes, Garrett Wilson is there as the No. 1 option, and rookie tight end Mason Taylor will also be expected to produce.

The offensive line might be getting slept on a little, and if everything comes together, could the Jets be dangerous?

We can’t see it in July, so come back to us in Week 5, but there are some talented players at Engstrand’s disposal; now he just has to get the most out of them.
