India vs England Day 5 LIVE: India have set England a steep target of 371 to win the series-opening cricket test at Headingley. India was all out for 364 in its second innings and, in the last half-hour of Day 4, England knocked 21 runs off the target and survived three overs from star pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah. England needs 350 more on the final day at less than four runs per over in the last three sessions on Tuesday, although some rain is forecast. England won the toss and opted to bowl. Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Rishabh Pant scored centuries as India put 471 on the board. England, led by Ollie Pope’s hundred and Harry Brook’s 99 scored 465 in their first innings. In the second innings, India fought back with tons from Pant and KL Rahul to score 364 and set a stiff target for the hosts.
