What Has Happened So Far?
England won the toss and opted to bowl. They were hammered early as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant scored centuries. India were heading towards a 600 run score but they slipped fro,m 430-3 to 471 all out, with Ben Stokes and Josh Tongue taking four wickets each. England came out all guns blazing with the bat despite losing Crawley to Bumrah early. Bumrah was standout for India but other bowlers were hammered. Ollie Pope scored a hundred while Harry Brook made 99, however, five wicket haul by Bumrah meant that India took a six run lead.
In the second innings, India lost Yashasvi jaiswal and Sai Sudharsan early but KL Rahul held things tight.
