Gloucestershire’s red-ball captain Cameron Bancroft has signed a new two-year contract.
The extension will keep Bancroft, 32, at the Bristol County Ground until the end of the 2027 season.
Since the Australian joined the club in 2024 he has scored just under 4,000 runs across all formats, and was named skipper for the 2025 County Championship season in February.
“I’m really excited to extend my stay at Gloucestershire. It’s a fantastic club with a great environment, and I look forward to contributing to the team’s success,” he told the club website, external.
