The entire season comes down to these last 12 games, as we all thought it would when the season began. Three games with the Rangers and three more later with the Mariners will likely determine both the AL West title and probably the third WC berth as well. A Rangers sweep will put them ahead of the Astros, whereas an Astros sweep could finish the Rangers’ playoff hopes.
