Academy player, Ethan Williams got on the scorers sheet as Manchester United routed Bournemouth 4-1 on Thursday.
It was United’s second Premier League Summer Series fixture, held at Soldier Field in Chicago, United States.
Williams netted by powering a low-driven shot towards the near post just a minute after being subbed on, adding to goals by Rasmus Højlund, Patrick Dorgu and Amad Diallo.
Bournemouth pulled a consolation as United dominated the last 20 minutes of the encounter.
Williams, 19, enjoyed a loan spell at Cheltenham Town last season and returned to Old Trafford to fight for a shirt.
He was said to have impressed manager Ruben Amorim in the early weeks of training, which led to him being included in the pre-season tour squad despite original plans being for him to go on another loan this season.
The pacy Williams is expected to enjoy more playing time at Old Trafford this term with the expected sale of Alejandro Garnacho.
