Political momentum is building ahead of the 2027 general elections as the Epe Division Stakeholders Forum has thrown its weight behind the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and former Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
During a consultative meeting with political and community leaders in Epe, the forum’s coordinator, Mr. Adewale Kazeem, called on Lagosians across the state to support Ambode’s return to office as governor, citing his record of transformative leadership during his first term.
“Lagos deserves a forward-thinking and people-oriented leader like Akinwunmi Ambode.
“He served with integrity, transparency, and outstanding performance. His developmental strides are still visible across the state, particularly in infrastructure and public service delivery,”Kazeem said.
Highlighting Ambode’s contributions to the growth of Epe and the state at large, Kazeem described his leadership as visionary and unmatched, noting that his return would revitalize Lagos’s economic and social development.
The forum also reaffirmed support for President Bola Tinubu’s second term, praising his administration’s efforts in stabilizing the economy, expanding infrastructure, and strengthening Nigeria’s global reputation.
“President Tinubu’s reforms are beginning to yield positive results. “His second term is crucial for consolidating gains and completing key national projects. Nigerians must rally behind him to ensure a successful finish,”Kazeem stated.
