Dwight Joseph might not be the clear frontrunner for Knockout of the Year after his work at PFL Africa 2 on Saturday, but it will be hard to come by a more brutal flying knee finish.
Joseph (15-2) was throwing wild strikes with bad intentions from the outset of his featherweight bout against Wilker Nsamo (7-1) at Big Top Arena in Johannesburg, South Africa. With the action spilling late in the second, however, that’s when he got the kill shot.
After throwing a wild spinning kick that drew Nsamo into range and into a level change, Joseph went airborne and put his right knee clean to the chin. Nsamo instantly spilled to the mat face first, and Joseph celebrated an epic highlight finish.

Joseph was one of several fighters to rack up a devastating stoppage result at PFL Africa 2. Just a few fights prior, Abdul Razac Sankara (7-4) landed a vicious question mark kick to the head of Shadrick Dju Yemba (4-1) just 2:01 in Round 1 of their featherweight bout.
