Colts’ DE Samson Ebukam exited Thursday’s joint practice against the Packers with an injury.
Indianapolis Colts’ defensive end Samson Ebukam left Thursday’s joint practice against the Green Bay Packers with an injury.
Shane Steichen said afterward that it is a back injury that Ebukam was working through. No other updates have been provided at this time.
In addition to Ebukam, wide receiver Josh Downs also left with an injury.
Ebukam returned to practice early on in training camp for the first time since sustaining an Achilles injury during last summer.
In his first season with the Colts in 2023, Ebukam recorded 48 pressures and a team-high 9.5 sacks. During the offseason, GM Chris Ballard said that the defense missed Ebukam’s physicality.
Also at the defensive end position, the Colts have been without Kwity Paye recently, who is dealing with a groin injury.
