Simultaneously with the outages on the cloud services platforms, other services were also affected. Platforms like Spotify, Discord, Fubo, Twitch and others also faced significant downtime. It is likely that the services were down due to the overall downtime of cloud services; however, an official confirmation is still awaited.
“AWS, Azure, Google Cloud all down. What the heck is going on? Is this an international cyberattack?” one user speculated in a post on X.
“Cloud flare is down. Not scheduled maintenance. One of the biggest website providers is in the middle of a huge cyberattack. @Cloudflare is being hacked by Antifa and Anonymous to protest illegal immigration,” wrote another.
“They’re running the global cyberattack playbook… all to get your coins… what a time to be alive… so bullish,” wrote another.
“Multiple google cloud services going down globally. Looks like cyberattack,” said one.
