Indiana head coach Curt Cignetti’s contract buyout was revealed after recently agreeing to an extension.
According to ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, the $93.25 million on Cignetti’s deal is fully guaranteed if he gets fired by the school without cause.
NBC Sports’ Nicole Auerbach also reported that the head coach would owe Indiana $15 million if he were to leave voluntarily.
On Thursday, Cignetti and the Hoosiers announced an agreement on an eight-year extension.
