It comes after the club signed striker Adam Idah from Celtic on deadline day in addition to bringing in left-back Ishe Samuels-Smith on a season-long loan from Chelsea on 2 September.
Benson started his professional career with Lierse, but secured a switch to Royal Antwerp in 2019 following stints with Genk and Royal Excel Mouscron.
After a loan spell with Dutch side PEC Zwolle, Benson signed for Burnley in the summer of 2022.
He has made 51 appearances across all competitions for the Clarets, scoring 14 goals.
Having represented his native Belgium at various youth levels, Benson has gone on to win four caps for Angola at senior level, qualifying to play for the African nation through his Angolan father.
Director of football Richard Montague said: “Manuel’s record shows he is a player who can make things happen, and we believe his speed and creative spark can be a real asset for Swansea City.
“He will add real dynamism to our play in the final third and we cannot wait for him to link up with his new teammates at Fairwood. Once we were aware this loan was a possibility we moved decisively to secure his services.”
