Four major recalls occurred the week of June 9, affecting food and medical products.

If you have any of the following products, throw them out or return them right away.

Last Friday, 1.7 million dozen eggs from August Egg Company were recalled nationwide over Salmonella concerns.

The eggs were tied to a 79-person Salmonella outbreak in seven states, which caused 21 hospitalizations.

Check your fridge for the recalled eggs, throw them away, and monitor for symptoms of Salmonella infection.

The eggs may contain Salmonella, which commonly causes diarrhea, stomach pain, and fever.

If you have the recalled products, stop using them immediately, and go to the Church & Dwight Co., Inc. website for a full refund.

Funji was found in the cotton component of the swabs.

Bornstein Seafoods recalled 44,550 pounds of frozen shrimp on Tuesday. The shrimp may be contaminated with Listeria, bacteria that can cause serious foodborne illness.

The affected shrimp was shipped to three states and British Columbia, but may have been further distributed and sold at retailers nationwide.

Check your freezer for the recalled shrimp, and toss or return it.

The frozen shrimp came back positive for Listeria during routine testing.

The recalled shrimp may have been further distributed to stores nationwide.

Unilever Manufacturing recalled 6,668 cases of Breyers ice cream, sold nationwide, on June 2 due to mislabeling and an undeclared allergen.

The tubs were labeled as Chocolate Truffle but actually contained the Rocky Road flavor and had Rocky Road lids. While the Rocky Road lid says the product contains almonds, the tub labeled as Chocolate Truffle does not list the allergen.

On Tuesday, the FDA gave the recall the second-highest risk level, as the ice cream could cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in people with almond allergies. If you can consume almonds, the recalled ice cream is otherwise safe.

While over 6,000 tubs were recalled, only 12 are believed to have the labeling issue.
