Bijan Robinson had a breakout year in his second NFL season, and he might be on his way to an even better season in Year 3.
The Atlanta Falcons running back put together a dominant performance in a win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday, racking up 143 rushing yards on 22 carries plus 25 yards through the air on three receptions.
NFL fans were hyped after the tremendous outing.
Robinson, the former No. 8 overall pick in the 2023 NFL draft, is coming off a season in which he tallied the third-most rushing yards (1,456) and the fifth-most rushing touchdowns (14) in the league.
Robinson had a bit of a slow start to his rushing attack in Week 1 as he totaled just 24 yards against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but he still managed to make an impact with 100 receiving yards and a touchdown through the air.
He reminded fans what he’s capable of on Sunday, and he appears on his way to an outstanding third season.
The Falcons’ offense looked rough for the most part on Sunday as quarterback Michael Penix Jr. threw for just 135 yards, but Atlanta managed to walk away with a win, thanks to its defense and Robinson’s efforts.
There are bound to be more games where the Falcons can’t get much going through the air, but they’ll rest assured knowing they have one of the best running backs in their backfield to rely on.
