Week 3 Result: WIN vs. Villanova (52-6)
Next Week: BYE
The Nittany Lions defense has allowed two touchdowns so far this year. One came with a 46-3 lead and 25 seconds remaining against Nevada in Week 1, and the other came on Saturday in a 52-0 game as time expired.
It wasn’t a great game for quarterback Drew Allar (16-of-29, 209 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT), but the Penn State running game pounded out 237 rushing yards at a 6.2 yards-per-carry clip, with Kaytron Allen (10 carries, 86 yards, 1 TD) and Nicholas Singleton (29 carries, 84 yards, 2 TD) shouldering the load out of the backfield.
