About Ikkis
Ikkis is backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and was originally scheduled for release on October 2, 2025. However, the release has now been postponed to December 2025. Alongside Agastya, Dharmendra, and Simar Bhatia, the film also features Jaideep Ahlawat in a significant role.
In an earlier conversation with PTI, director Sriram Raghavan emphasized the film’s commitment to authenticity, stating that it would avoid glamorizing Arun Khetarpal’s story in a superheroic fashion. “It’s not a comic-book hero version,” he explained. The narrative skips the protagonist’s early life and instead focuses on his courageous journey as a young soldier who laid down his life for the nation shortly after turning 21. Raghavan added, “It is a big production; there will be tank fights and all that.”
Akshay Kumar’s work front
On the work front, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of Welcome… To The Jungle. He also has several projects lined up, including Haiwaan, Bhoot Bangla, and Hera Pheri 3.
