What’s Expected at WWDC 2025
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is working to make its software ecosystem more consistent. That means smoother navigation, shared design elements, and better integration across devices.
A New Gaming App?
In a surprising twist, Apple is expected to take another stab at social gaming. Rumours suggest a new built-in gaming app could be announced, making its way to iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple TVs. If confirmed, this would be Apple’s second serious attempt to tap into the mobile gaming market.
Apple AI Upgrades
Artificial intelligence will likely take the spotlight again this year. Apple is expected to open up access to its large language models (LLMs) for third-party developers, allowing them to build more intelligent, AI-powered features into apps. There’s also buzz about a new AI tool that could help extend iPhone battery life using real-time optimisation.
As for Siri, last year’s big AI-powered revamp is still on hold. Apple reportedly needs more time for testing, so it’s unlikely we’ll see a major Siri update just yet.
Any New Devices?
As always, Apple is expected to save new product announcements – like the iPhone 17 lineup – for its September event. WWDC 2025 is all about the software and tools that developers and users will get their hands on over the coming months.
