A tornado touched down near Highways 9 and 35 in Norman, Oklahoma, on Tuesday evening. The National Weather Service (NWS) had issued a warning and asked people to take shelter.
A photo showed the funnel cloud on the ground. The storm also brought a chance of hail and strong winds.
Tornado sirens were also activated in Yukon, Oklahoma, on Tuesday as severe weather moved through eastern Canadian County.
A tornado warning is in effect for Pauls Valley and White Bead, Oklahoma, until 6:00 PM CDT
