R-Truth shocked the WWE universe when he announced his departure from the company. The former tag team champion took to X to reveal that he got released from WWE. “Im sorry to inform you all. I just got released from WWE. I want to thank WWE for the ride, but MOSTLY I want to thank each and EVERYONE OF YOU who was along for the ride, Thank you for all the love, support, and appreciation you have given me over the years. Thank you,” Truth wrote on X.

Truth is one of the most beloved superstars in the company and his release left everyone shocked. Many WWE superstars have reacted to Truth’s release from the company on social media.

John Cena has also reacted to the shocking update and shared a post on Instagram. The 17-time world champion shared Truth’s pic on the social media platform.

Cena never captions his posts and once again, he didn’t write anything in his post for Truth. Truth’s last major storyline was against Cena.

The former US Champion cheered for Cena in the lead-up to his match against Randy Orton at WWE Backlash and helped him retain the title at the premium live event. Cena returned the favour by attacking him at the presser following the show.

The duo locked horns in a non-title match at the Saturday Night’s Main Event to end their storyline. Truth’s last WWE match was against JC Mateo.

Rhea Ripley was one of the superstars who quickly reacted to Truth’s release and wrote that it was heartbreaking. “In all seriousness, this is literally so heartbreaking… Thank you Truth,” she commented on Truth’s post.

Truth and Rhea were part of a storyline when the former US Champion was trying to join the Judgement Day. He and The Miz won the Raw Tag Team Championship at Wrestlemania 40. Damian Priest and Finn Balor entered the match as the Undisputed Tag Team Champions.
