Cincinnati Bengals fans were appreciative of the Cleveland Browns for the trade between the two teams involving veteran quarterback Joe Flacco on Thursday night.
After the Bengals wrapped up a 33-31 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, fans at Paycor Stadium were heard chanting, “Thank you Cleveland.”
Flacco finished 31-of-47 for 342 yards and three touchdowns without committing a turnover in his second start with the Bengals, helping them snap a four-game losing streak.
The Bengals acquired Flacco and a 2026 sixth-round draft pick from the Browns in exchange for a 2026 fifth-round selection on Oct. 7 in order to help make up for the absence of star quarterback Joe Burrow due to a toe injury.
With the win over Pittsburgh, Cincinnati improved to 3-4.
