Kubbra Sait who played the iconic role of Kukoo in the fan-favourite web series Sacred Games recently opened up about the character, recalling the harsh comments and trolls she faced as a response. She explained how she takes the ‘horrible’ things as a ‘laugh’ as she explained the strength and courage it took to overcome the hate online.

During a recently conversation with Zoom, Kubbra Sait broke her silence on the trolls and mean comments for her role of Kukoo in Scared Games web series as she said, “They say horrible things but I always took it with a laugh, a joke because I think humour is underrated in today’s world. We think everything can be solved by being serious.” She further recalled her friend’s statement which said, “Kisi ka joke udana aur kisi ka joke banana, usme difference hota hai (There’s a difference between making a joke about someone and making a joke with someone).”

Kubbra Sait was also one of the contestant in the currently streaming show Rise and Fall, hosted by Ashneer Grover. Referring to her co-contestant Aarush’s comments and jokes she said, “I think Aarush jokes mein bahaut fast hai, unke mu par koi lagaam nahi hai. Magar unke intentions sahi hai. Atleast unke andar curiosity hai because its not about converting everyone (I think Arush is really quick with his jokes — he has no filter. But his intentions are good. At least he’s curious, because it’s not about convincing everyone).“
