India and Pakistan are all set to face off in the Asia Cup Final 2025 on Sunday (28th September) in Dubai, UAE — a highly anticipated day for sports fans. India will look to clinch their record-extending 12th title. With anticipation and nerves running high, fans both online and offline are extending prayers and wishes for Team India’s victory.
Several visuals have emerged on social media showing people across different cities in India offering prayers, performing aartis, and wishing hard for India’s win.
In one video from Prayagraj, devotees were seen holding pictures of Team India while performing aarti and praying for a resounding victory. Another video from Jammu showed fans at the Kali temple seeking blessings ahead of the high-voltage clash with Pakistan.
Alongside these offline prayers, social media has also been flooded with wishes for the Men in Blue. One user wrote, “It’s Asia Cup final day. God be kind on Indian cricket team.” Another posted, “Abhishek Sharma hasn’t failed all Asia Cup. I am afraid that law of averages doesn’t kick in. One final push Sharma ji.” And many others echoed, “All the best, Team India,” across the internet.
Some fans have even gone to extreme lengths to show their support. A PTI visual captured cricket enthusiast Chandra Prakash Nandu unveiling a massive 22-foot-long and 22-foot-wide T-shirt dedicated to the nation. He told PTI, “Today India will beat Pakistan convincingly.”
The entire Indian sporting fraternity is rallying behind Team India, hoping for yet another memorable triumph. India has already faced Pakistan twice in this tournament, winning comprehensively on both occasions — by 7 wickets in the Group Stage and by 6 wickets in the Super Four stage.
The toss is scheduled to be held at 7:30 PM IST on 28th September 2025.
