In one of the most Bengal-coded incidents, a snake was spotted with a fish in its mouth! Not like snakes don’t prey on fish- but the clip was more about how the incident happened in a state where people can choose fish as a meal almost every day- over everything else; West Bengal. As per the post, the unusual sight was recorded at a flooded backyard in Kolkata. The snake, on the other hand, looked in a hurry as it slithered quickly across the backyard- with its meal clenched in its mouth. Not only did the entire thing look ironic, but it also looked somewhat comical- leaving many amused. The video began to circulate almost instantly, leaving most netizens reacting. Many resorted to cracking all kinds of jokes on the video, while some couldn’t help but appreciate the reptile’s beauty.

For those not aware, Kolkata is currently facing major waterlogging and flooding. The city had witnessed heavy downpour in the last few days, resulting in it getting stuck and paralysed. Moreover, the flooding only doubled the trouble for WB, as it happened right before one of the biggest Hindu festivals- Durga Puja.
