Getting dressed up for date night isn’t always straightforward. Getting dressed up for date night when your partner is one of the world’s most famous models—and the date is smack-bang in the middle of New York Fashion Week—is even trickier. Luckily, Bradley Cooper was up for the challenge.
On Sunday evening, Cooper and his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, went Monsieur, a bar owned by filmmaker Baz Luhrmann, in Manhattan’s East Village to celebrate Hadid’s recent Vogue cover. She was doing the proper supermodel thing: slinky Miu Miu dress, silver heels, sparkling jewelry. Meanwhile, Cooper opted for a relatively understated look that also happened to be head-to-toe Louis Vuitton. (Makes sense: The actor has been an ambassador for the French luxury label since 2022.)

The shirt (the “Staples” style, which is now sold out) was slim-fit and navy, with a brown embroidered LV label tucked into the breast pocket. He paired the sleek shirt with wool cargo pants featuring zippered pockets and tonal LV logos, plus his favorite Louis Vuitton x Timberland lace-up boots.
The thing is, this is a fit where a few things could have gone wrong. Going all-in on one brand runs the risk of things looking a bit hype-crazy or too “done.” But Cooper’s not new to this. He knows that the coolest things you can wear are things you already own. He knows that keeping things simple is the best way to look put-together and slick. And he knows that for a fancy date night, a good French shirt is all you need.
