The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), the National Pension Commission (PenCom), their operators, and other stakeholders will dissect topical issues affecting the sectors tomorrow at the annual conference and 10th anniversary of the Nigerian Association of Insurance and Pension Editors (NAIPE) in Lagos.
With the theme: ‘Strengthening pension and insurance framework for better economy’, the high-profile discourse, held at Oriental Hotel, will involve a panel session with Mrs Bola Odukale, Director-General, NIA; Mr Oguche Agudah, CEO, PenOp; Mr Adetunbi Ashaye, Head of Operations, Parthian Partners Ltd.
Others are: Mr Makanjuola Tubi, Executive Director, Business Development at emPLE Life Assurance, and Dr Talmis Usman, Director, Legal, Enforcement and Market Development, NAICOM.
The conference will be chaired by the immediate past Commissioner for Insurance/CEO, NAICOM, Mr Olorundare Sunday Thomas, while the keynote speaker is Mr Olatunde Amolegbe, MD/CEO, Arthur Stevens Asset Management Limited.
Special guests of honour are the Commissioner for Insurance/CEO, NAICOM, Mr Olusegun Ayo Omosehin; the Director-General, PenCom, Ms Omolola Oloworaran; and Chairman, Rex Insurance Ltd, and GMD, Afrinvest (West Africa) Ltd, Mr Ike Chioke.
Commenting, the Chairperson of NAIPE, Mrs Nkechi Naeche-Esezobor, expressed optimism about the level of readiness and support received so far for the conference. She noted that the NAIPE conference has been consistent for ten years, which has made a significant impact in positively shaping activities in the financial economy.
