Some folks will tell you that fall starts on September 21st, because that’s what the calendar says. Others will insist that the official beginning of the season is more about vibes than anything, and that fall informally kicks off when the weather dictates it’s too cold to wear shorts. Still others will insist that Halloween is the actual marker of autumn’s arrival, and that we’re all denying ourselves a full month of summer.
