George Munsey’s 59 runs helped Scotland defeat Namibia in a rain-shortened World Cup League 2 ODI in King City, Ontario.

Opener Munsey, whose haul of 84 was pivotal in Sunday’s win over Canada, was eventually bowled by Ruben Trumpelmann.

Brandon McMullen, Tom Bruce, Michael Leask and Mark Watt all added tallies of double figures as Namibia were set a target of 165.

Chris Greaves took three wickets and Brad Currie and Safyaan Sharif took two each as Scotland restricted their opponents to 109 all out and won by 55 runs.

Zane Green top scored for Namibia with 27, closely followed by JJ Smit on 26.

Doug Watson’s side play hosts Canada again at the Maple Leaf North-West Ground on Saturday.
