Saturday brings a college football game so big, the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission weighed in on it. Yes, on Monday, Google, YouTube TV’s parent corporation announced that its contract with Fox expires on Wednesday, Aug. 27. If the two companies cannot create a new agreement by 5 p.m. ET, Fox’s content could be made unavailable on YouTube TV.
Perhaps you got the email?
An email from YouTube TV is like that video of the living dead girl in “The Ring” series, you just want to avoid seeing it, because the content inside is always terrible. YTTV only sends out emails when they’re either
a.) telling you about networks they currently carry, but could soon not carry anymore (i.e. sporting events you pay them a subscription fee to watch, but soon may not be able to, due to corporate greed) or
b.) one of their many consistent price hikes
FCC Chair Brendan Carr posted on Twitter yesterday that removing FOX from YTTV would be “terrible.”
“Millions of Americans are relying on YouTube to resolve this dispute so they can keep watching the news and sports they want – including this week’s Big Game: Texas (at) Ohio State,” Carr posted. “Get a deal done, Google!”

Safety Caleb Downs

Tight End Max Klare
A late first to early second round prospect who excels in the passing game but needs work in run game, i.e. he’s a solid pass catcher but lacks as a blocker.
