The atmosphere in Darazo was filled with excitement as the Gifted Secondary School, Darazo, held its maiden graduation ceremony, producing 63 pioneer graduates.

In a statement by Bako Darazo, media aide to Hon. Mansur Manu Soro, lawmaker representing Darazo/Ganjuwa Federal Constituency, the event marked a milestone for the school which was established in 2022 to provide free quality education.

The school, founded by Hon. Soro, covers not only tuition but also provides students with uniforms, textbooks, shoes, and bags. In addition, it fully pays for their National Examinations Council (NECO) fees.

The graduation ceremony was marked by colourful performances from the students who showcased their talents while expressing appreciation for the opportunities given to them.

One of the parents, Mallam Mohd Adamu, lauded Hon. Soro’s vision and generosity, describing the project as a remarkable contribution to educational development in Darazo.

The event was graced by dignitaries from across the district.

Meanwhile, another Gifted School founded by Hon. Soro in Ganjuwa West, Kafin Madaki, is also set to graduate 41 students in the coming days.
